im not dead.

im not dead. i promise. and i have a lot of news.

i have been super busy. i just got a job down in Tampa, Florida working for Jimmy and Heartcore clothing doing pretty much exactly what im doing now but with more and bigger clients. im really stoked on all that. i leave June 15th and i wouldnt go out without a big shibang. who do you think i am?


also- here is what i printed this week. they all turned out super giant and super amazing. im really thrilled with how fast and how well they all came out.

Thats the design I hinted at earlier. I have been working in a new program called Manga Studio, as referred by RAY FRENDEN and i really like the line work i can accomplish with it. anywaiz, its my birthday. so im gonna go drink and draw up some new designs for some more fueled by ramen bands

Oh man!

Oh man!
What a load of shirts. Thanks to the help of some friends and a case of Keystone Ice (keepin it classy) and some Chipotle, I printed those all last night.
Just in time too, because its my birthday in approximately 2 hours. SWEET!

I drew up some new designs but I'm gonna keep them on the hush hush till i hear back from the client. I really like them.

UIC FASHION SHOW

I am printing some shirts (150) for a fashion show at UIC in Chicago. they look pretty neat. white and gold shimmer on black shirts. After this I have about 200 shirts to print for all the teams involved in the Normal West Ultimate Frisbee Club. should be fun.... 18 different colored shirts. i hope the wholesaler sends me the right shit. all hell will break loose.

A little off topic

but i had a speech to do for class today and i made a powerpoint and all that bullshit but since i lack the knowledge to pull off a solid presentation on my own i made it pretty comical. anyways im not gonna bore you with the details but here are some slide backgrounds i had in the powerpoint.












update: i got a 55/40 and the teacher insisted i put all of these on a cd for him. mwuahaha!

Busy week

this week is gonna be super busy for me.

after that is over 100 shirts for Normal West Ultimate Frisbee League. I'll be having some printing parties for those of you who like to drink and watch shirts get made all night. you usually leave with a free shirt or two. email me.



oh ps. i'll have pictures from the art show up today or tomorrow. it was pretty fun. pretty weird too.

Squid Shirts

The Screens finally arrived so i had time to do some test prints today. took me a while to get the colors to be exactly what i wanted. i think they look pretty sick. also- i printed the design FUCKING HUGE it looks great.







the test prints are on charcoal gray and royal blue. the actual shirts are purple. there is a picture of them a couple posts back

Puke Design Printed

they turned out pretty sweet. a little small but they look good.
hopefully the next run of them will be the right size on the shirt.

My weekend so far...

The Red Beard Shirts got here before the screens arrived so I prettied them up by detagging them and printing in my own little tag. i think they look pretty sweet. the light blue on purple turned out nice.

i was walking into class and someone had puked all over the side of the building and down the ashtray. it was pretty sick. once inside and sketched out that shirt. I'll post when they get printed.

wow. what a long night. finished all the coventry shirts. me and dylan drank two pots of coffee. he passed out around 5 something. i made it and finished printing. i might go to sleep. class doesnt sound that fun right now.

I dont want to give anything away but me and dylan have been going nuts for this warhol show. i hope its as big of a deal as the currator made it out to be. warhol prints, limos, after parties, drag queens....

Busy week for me to say the less. indoor Mud Wrestling party, working the ISU vs Bradley basketball games, competing in the Ultimate Stagg Challenge IV, Hip Hop keggers. my liver needs a break i think...

Paramore and the Superbowl

I cooked up 10 lbs of hot wings for the superbowl last night. what a mistake. my stomach feels like i swallowed a hedgehog. owwwww. it was a pretty good night though. totally made up for the last couple weekends.



Here are some more ideas i came up with for Paramore.
I'll be sending these in later this week so dont just lurk, let me know what you think of them so i can improve them if need be.

Squid Surprise

I modified up that squid shirt for The Red Beard Conspiracy.
Kinda cool, since it started off as just a drawing on one of my walls and somehow made it onto a shirt and now is turning into money in my pocket. Here is one of my favorite versions of the shirt.




In other news my roommate Dylan who helps run byeline with me got a design accepted for The Hush Sound so congrats to him. The shirt looks sick. you might see it in hot topic soon. I'll post my ideas for Paramore soon..... once i make them.

Just got done with a handful of test prints and they all look pretty good. finally got the blue the color i wanted it and its looking pretty swank.

Paramore

I spent most of today sleeping through three incredibly boring classes.
after that i burned the screens for the Red Beard Conspiracy shirts and worked on a design for Paramore. Shwag is on his way over to drink some brews and print some shirts.






most of this week will be dedicated to printing red beard shirts and then i have a surprise for most of you hopefully this weekend. i think i'm gonna print a design that i have had on the back burner for much too long now.
